Full Apartment Refurbishment

This project was a complete refurbishment of a residential apartment at 69 Lincoln Gate, Peterborough, carried out by Lyon Construction as a full turnkey renovation.

This was one of our customers named Daniel, who trusted us with the entire job from start to finish. He handed us the keys to the apartment and allowed us to manage every stage of the work independently. The project was fully completed within 30 days.

When we first arrived, the property was dated — Artex ceilings, old wallpaper, tired flooring, and an outdated bathroom and kitchen. The goal was to modernise the entire space and deliver a clean, bright apartment ready for either rental or resale.

Scope of Works

• Ceilings:
Plastered over existing Artex ceilings to achieve a smooth and modern finish throughout the apartment.
• Walls & Painting:
Removed all wallpaper, carried out full wall repairs, filled imperfections, and fully repainted every room for a consistent, high-quality look.
• Kitchen:
Removed the old worktop and installed a brand-new kitchen top, improving the appearance without the need for a full kitchen replacement.
• Bathroom:
Complete bathroom renovation — removal of all old fittings, installation of a new suite, tiling, and sealing to a professional standard.
• Flooring:
Replaced all existing flooring with new, durable materials to refresh the entire property.
• Electrical & Heating Work:
Completed a full electrical update throughout the apartment, including the installation of new sockets and replacement of lighting points.
We also installed 5 new radiators and removed the old ones, ensuring a clean and efficient heating system for the entire property.

Result

The apartment went from outdated to modern and move-in ready. The transformation was completed on time and within the agreed 30-day schedule, giving Daniel peace of mind knowing the entire project was handled by one trusted contractor — Lyon Construction.
